Girl-Child Education and Women’s Empowerment

The Mama na Dada Girl-Child Life's Skills and Mentoring Program is a Saturday course offered to girls at the primary and secondary level, with a one-week intensive workshop once a year. The aim of the course is to dispel miths about womanhood and inform them about their bodies, health, nutrition, family planning, career opportunities in the area, and self esteem.

The main goal is to educate and empower girls to choose the lives they want for themselves, pursue education and career goals without having their paths derailed by unwanted pregnancies, early marriages and other negative effects brought about by the lack of a support group of successful women to act as role models.
